Beth Yachad Yeshiva began January 2006 in order to provide a complete Messianic Jewish education to congregational members at the Beth Yachad Community of Messianic Synagogues. As a satellite school of the American Institute of Holy Land Studies, Beth Yachad Yeshiva is able to give students a foundation in the Hebraic Roots of the 1st Century Messianic Community at Jerusalem. The American Institute is a specialty college in the field of Middle Eastern History. Beth Yachad supplements the core classes offered by the American Institute of Holy Land Studies with material designed to develop Messianic Jewish congregational leaders in the areas of worship, intimacy with the Holy One of Israel, and leadership skills.
The parent school, the American Institute of Holy Land Studies, is a specialty school that offers a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Religious Education in Middle Eastern History. Currently, only the Bachelor’s degree is formally offered at through the Beth Yachad lCommunity of Messianic Synagogues. Study groups are being formed for the Master’s Degree program. The Bachelor’s degree is a four-year religious degree that provides the student with the most up-to-date information concerning the modern and biblical land of Israel, biblical culture, and the Jewish roots of Christianity. The Master’s degree is a two-year religious degree that qualifies the student as an instructor in the field of Jewish Studies and the Jewish Roots of Christianity with an emphasis on the conception and development of the Judeo-Christian faith.

Classes will commence every semester and are held Thursday evenings starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Beth Yachad Fountain of Life campus.
Instructors from the American Institute of Advanced Biblical Studies present their material over videocassette at the Beth Yachad Fountain of Life campus. These instructors include:
- Dr. Ron Moseley, Ph.D., D.Phil., Founder and President, of the American Institute, has studied at Princeton, Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and the American Institute in Jerusalem. His BA and MA are from Luther Rice College. His first PhD is from Louisiana Baptist University. Also, he graduated with honors from Oxford Graduate School with his second Doctorate, and was inducted into the Oxford Society of Scholars.
- Marvin Wilson, Ph.D is the Harold J Ockeng Professor of Biblical and Theological Studies at Gordon College and was one of the translators of the New International Version of the Bible. He is the author of the popular book, Our Father Abraham, which is a textbook on the subject of the Jewish roots of the Christian faith.
- Brad Young, Ph.D received his doctorate at Hebrew University and served as a graduate assistant to Professor David Flusser, Chairman of the Department of Comparative Religion at Hebrew University. Dr. Young currently teaches at Oral Roberts University and is involved in the research of the Jerusalem School and in the writing of the Jerusalem Synoptic Gospel Commentary.
- Roy Blizzard, Ph.D received his Doctorate in Hebrew Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Blizzard has served as an instructor in Hebrew, Biblical History, and Biblical Archaeology at the University of Texas at Austin.
- Jim Fleming, PhD holds his EdD degree from Southwestern Theological Seminary and has taught both at Hebrew University and the American Institute at Jerusalem. He is the Executive Director of the Biblical Resources Study Center in Jerusalem, Israel and has served as a cartography consultant to the Curriculem Department of Israeli Photographs. Also, Dr. Fleming contributes articles to the Biblical Archaeology Review, as well as serves as a member of the Advisory Board.
- Ken Hanson, Ph.D. holds a Ph.D in Hebrew Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and has worked at the Institute of Holy Land Studies in Jerusalem. He currently teaches at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
- Dwight Pryor, BA graduated with special distinction in Biblical Studies from the University of Oklahoma. He is the President of the Center for Judaic Christian Studies in Dayton, Ohio.
Beth Yachad Yeshiva Satellite is served by the following individuals:
- Messianic Rabbi/Pastor Harlon Picker. Rabbi Picker is the Senior Rabbi/Pastor of the Beth Yachad Community Messianic Synagogues. Harlon is a Jewish believer in Yeshua from the Tribe of Levi. Harlon has been called to be a Pastor and a Teacher, but moves in all areas of the five-fold ministry. Rabbi received his Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Desert Rose Christian College and is an ordained Rabbi through International Alliance of Messianic Congregations & Synagogues and Jewish Voice International Ministries International.
- Rebbitzin/Messianic Jewish Teacher/Pastor Joyce Picker - Joyce graduated from Desert Rose Christian College with a Bachelor's Degree in Theology. She also has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration & Management from the University of Phoenix. Joyce received her ordination as a Messianic Jewish Teacher through the International Alliance of Messianic Congregations & Synagogues. She was ordained as a Messianic Pastor on June 15, 2004 through Beth Yachad Messianic Congregation.
- Messianic Pastor Allen Moorhead, BA holds a BA from Faith Bible College. Allen is an Elder for Beth Yachad Messianic Congregation and has been part of Bridges for Peace for 15 years. He is popular as a guest speaker and performer on TBN and at churches. Currently, he performs with Y’dadim Sha Israel (Friends of Israel). Also, he has participated in archeological digs in Israel. His other activities include pursuing a Master’s degree and working as Supervisor of Maintenance/Operations at the Agua Fria Power Plant for over 30 years. He is also the Congregational Leader for Beth Yachad - Pinnacle Peak.
- Messianic Pastor Anita Moorhead, BA holds a BA from Faith Bible College. She is the mother of five children - one who serves as a Missionary to China. She has been part of Bridges for Peace for over 15 years, a business owner for 9 years and a Director of Religious Education. Also, she traveled to Israel during the Israeli war with Lebanon in order to encourage Israeli troops through dance solidarity concerts.
- Reverend Marilyn Horowitz,BS graduated from the University of Maryland in 1963 with a BS in Elementary Education with emphasis on Sociology and Psychology. Since that time she has been teaching in private Christian schools throughout the greater Pheonix area, and tuoring and coaching adults. She has been involved in teaching for over twenty years. Marilyn has had the opportunity to counsel and assisit those who are disabled and help them learn how to work in the community.
- Messianic Reverend Pam Booth earned an Associate degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College. She studied for ministry in the State of Wisconsin and received ministerial credentials thru the United Pentecostal Church International. She also served as a Prison Chaplain in local, state and federal facilities. Pam is currently an ordained Messianic Reverend serving at Beth Yachad Community of Messianic Synagogues.

VISION
To make talmidim (disciples) who have a solid foundation in the Hebraic back round of the 1st Century Church, an intimate relationship with the Holy One of Israel, an understanding of holiness and obedience, and to instill within these talmidim the desire and skill to make talmidim.
MISSION
To provide men and women with the skills to be effective witnesses, leaders, and stewards of the Good News of Messiah Yeshua in Messianic Congregations and churches in the United States, Eretz Israel, and around the world.
VALUES
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Thou shalt love the Lord your God with all your heart, and soul, and strength. Devarim (Deuteronomy) 6:4-5. Love for God.
You shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in tlhe land which you shall possess. Devarim (Deuteronomy) 5:33. Obedience to God.

Beth Yachad AIABS Satellite is committed to communicating its values to men and women. Through this process, it is believed that its students will catch the vision of living a passionate holy life in total subjection to the Lord and will gain the skills necessary to communicate this vision to others. Life through the Messiah Yeshua is victorious over sin, purpose oriented, and committed to sharing the Grace of our Messiah with others.
Students of Beth Yachad AIABS Satellite are expected to adapt his/her lifestyle to the standards ADONAI has laid out for us in His Word, the Tanakh and the B’rit Chadashah. By enrolling as a student at Beth Yachad AIABS Satellite, you are agreeing to live according to these standards. Policies and standards for conduct shall apply to conduct that occurs on the Beth Yachad/Fountain of Life Campus, at Beth Yachad sponsored activities, at the jobsite, and in one’s home. Each student shall be responsible for his/her conduct from the time of application for admission through the actual awarding of a degree, even though conduct may occur before classes begin or after classes end, as well as during the academic year and between the terms of actual enrollment (and even if their conduct is not discovered until after a degree is awarded). Beth Yachad AIABS Satellite reserves the right to interpret policy/scriptures and to apply the intent of the policy judiciously, depending upon the circumstances.
The Word of God teaches individual responsibility for behavior. Man can choose behavior that pleases God and hallows relationships between people. Failure to obey God’s commandments as outlined in the Bible may result in disciplinary action and sanctions. Each student associated with Beth Yachad AIABS Satellite is expected to be familiar with God’s commandments as taught in the Bible and committed to obedience to God’s commandments through the empowering of the Holy Spirit.

Beth Yachad AIABS Satellite is closely affiliated with the Beth Yachad Community of Messianic Synagogues. These congregations generously support Beth Yachad AIABS with prayer, encouragement, financial support, facilities, and financial contributions. Beth Yachad AIABS Satellite is committed to developing leaders for the Beth Yachad Congregations of tomorrow and the extension of Messianic Jewish ministry to Jews and gentiles throughout the world.
