MESSIANIC JUDAISM
Beth Yachad is a Messianic Congregation led by
Messianic Rabbi Harlon Picker and Rebbitzin Joyce Picker,
where Jewish and non-Jewish (Gentile) believers in the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) can together worship the Holy One of Israel. In this atmosphere of unity, we also identify with "Messianic Judaism"—the modern, world-wide revival of Jewish people coming to know their Messiah, Yeshua. Messianic Judaism is both a restoration of the 1st century faith, and a prophetic move of God as foretold in the Scriptures.
TO THE JEW FIRST
The apostle Paul said that the Gospel of Yeshua is "the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Gentile." (Romans 1:16) The salvation of our Jewish people is a top priority at Beth Yachad, though never to the exclusion of the Gentile. We desire to see all Jewish people embrace their Messiah, Yeshua, and fulfill their calling as servants of the God of Israel. To this end, we support Messianic Jewish outreach efforts in the former Soviet Union and around the world, as well as other humanitarian efforts, both locally and abroad.

UNITY & HARMONY
Paul also teaches us that Yeshua the Messiah
"is our peace, who made both [Jew and Gentile]
into... one new man..." (Ephesians 2:14-15) The Lord is calling us to be united in one Body as His return approaches. It is time for us to put aside our differences and become one, just as Yeshua and the Father are one (John 17:21). This spirit of unity and harmony between Jew and Gentile is predominant in the congregational life of Beth Yachad.
HEBRAIC ROOTS

At Beth Yachad, we believe one of the keys to unity in the Body is for us to actively reach out to the Gentile Churches and teach them about the Hebraic roots of Christianity. We specifically teach and preach the Biblical Feasts and Festivals (as outlined in Leviticus 23) from a Messianic perspective—that in Yeshua we find the fullness of God’s appointed times.
HOUSE OF PRAYER
Beth Yachad is very much a "house of prayer." We believe that prayer is an essential part of congregational life. In addition, we believe that praise and worship are vital to strengthening the Body of believers. In our services, we follow biblical patterns of prayer, praise and worship, and we welcome and embrace the orderly use of spiritual gifts for the building-up of the congregation (1Corinthians 12-14).
AFFILIATIONS

Beth Yachad
is a member of the International Alliance of Messianic Congregations & Synagogues (IAMCS) and The Assemblies of God. Rabbi Harlon and Rebbitzin Joyce are also members of the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America (MJAA). We believe that membership in these three key organizations will help to ensure that Beth Yachad will remain true to its Jewish heritage and calling while it also reaches out to the Gentile (Christian) Church.
MINISTRIES
From music and dance to intercessory prayer; from youth and adult education to ministry for
men, women and families—Beth Yachad is a vibrant expression of messianic ministry.
